Congratulations! The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announces the official result for October 18, 2015 Career Service Examination- Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as the Civil Service Exam for Professional and Sub-Professionals has been released online.
CSE-PPT general ability tests, Examinees answer the following subjects; Professional level examination covered vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy, logic, and numerical reasoning, three-hour (3:00) with 170 items while the Sub-Professional exam lasted two-hour and thirty-minutes (2:30)with 165 items, covered the same subject areas except analogy and logic, and also includes questions on spelling and clerical operations.

Note that CSE-PPT at the following areas: Region 1 (Ilocos Region), Region 2 (Cagayan Valley Region) Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), National Capital Region (Metro Manila) and Tawi-Tawi was rescheduled to December 6, 2015 due to Typhoon Lando. The examination results for this expted to be released sometime in January to February 2016.
IMPORTANT:
1. Individual test result generation through OCSERGS (Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System) shall be available by Dec. 14, 2015 and thereafter.
2. Concerns on examination result, including verification of Examinee Number, should be coordinated directly with the CSCRO concerned.
3. Certification of Eligibility for passers (printed on CSC letterhead, free of charge) shall be available by January 4, 2016 and thereafter.
(N.B.: CSC Eligibility card is not yet available.)
4. Passers may also opt to apply for regular Certification of Eligibility (printed on security paper at cost).
5. Read thoroughly, and be guided, by the corresponding Examination Advisory to be posted in the CSC website.
Examinee answer the Professional and Sub-Professional levels to answer Examinee Descriptive Questionnaire which is not scored but reference purposes only.
Examinees need to obtain a rating of 80 percent to pass the exams.
According to CSC, Questions for both examination levels include general information on the Philippine Constitution, the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), peace and human rights issues and concepts, and environment management and protection.
