The newest primetime bida of ABS-CBN features the return of Coco Martin titled “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” garnered an impressive national TV national ratings and rave reviews from the viewer’s when it made its debut last Monday, September 28, 2015. In the first day premiere series, FPJ’s “Ang Probinsyano” conquered the Twitter trending topics nationwide.

ABS-CBN’s remake of Fernando Poe Jr.’s “Ang Probinsyano” got the ratings game as Kantar Media reported that the series garnered a 41.6% rating, way ahead of its competitor Marimar which had 16.3 %.

FPJ’s “Ang Probinsyano” is under the direction of Malu Sevilla and Avel Sumpongco. The main cast are Coco Martin as PO3 Ricardo “Cardo” Dalisay/ Police Sr. Inspector Dominador “Ador” B. de Leon, Maja Salvador as PO3 Glen Corpuz, Bela Padilla as Carmen Guzman de Leon, Arjo Atayde as Police Inspector Joaquin Tuazon and among others.

Its pilot episode showed how Ador (Martin) surpassed the physical, mental, and emotional challenges at the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) as he graduated as valedictorian of his batch.

They also said “Ang Probinsyano” is a good venue to showcase the better side of the police.

The policemen also thanked ABS-CBN for putting importance on the role of policemen in society.
