Top Trending Topic Online! The Veteran Action Star Cesar Montano replaced Robin Padilla in the highly anticipated movie “Nilalang” with the Japanese actress Maria Ozawa. The movie “Nilalang” is one of the official entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).  Cesar Montano confirmed to the media that he already started shooting for the film.

In the official Instagram account of Cesar Montano, the 53-year-old posted some photos of him with Maria Ozawa and co-star Meg Imperial. Meg Imperial is one of the main cast of the film “Nilalang” who worked with Cesar Montano and Maria Ozawa.

The Japanese actress Maria Ozawa also posted on Instagram a photo on the set of “Nilalang” which originally stars Robin Padilla but earlier he pulled out of the film in order to take care of his wife Mariel Rodriguez, who was going through a delicate pregnancy, following a miscarriage months earlier. Days later, it was announced that Mariel later lost her triplets in another miscarriage.

In the press conference, Nilalang “tackles the underbelly of corrupt Philippine cops with the ‘yakuza’ and its links to a centuries’ old curse that may be responsible for the spate of serial killings happening in Manila.”
