The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,817 out of 2,654 passed the Social Worker Licensure Examination given by the Board for Social Workers in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last July 2015.

The members of the Board for Social Workers who gave the licensure examination are Lorna C. Gabad, Chairman; Jesus S. Far and Mary Ofelia L. Endaya, Members.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

The top performing schools in the July 2015 Social Worker Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010:

The performance of schools in the July 2015 Social Worker Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation” is as follows:

Examinees answered the following subjects; Human Behavior and Social Environment (20%), Social Welfare Policies Programs, and Services (20%), Social Work Methods (Part I, Part II, Part III) (30%), Field Practice (30%).

Last June 2014, PRC releases a total of 1,110 out of 2, 031 who successfully passed the Social Worker Licensure Examination given by the Board for Social Workers.
