Top Trending Topic Online! Star Cinema’s latest movie title “The Love Affair” featuring Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta and Bea Alonzo earned more than P15 million in the first impressive debut at the box office on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.

The Star Cinema said that the box office earning of “The Love Affair” is at par with another Star Cinema Movie “The Breakup Playlist”, which featured the first big-screen tandem of Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo.

The 27-year-old Bea Alonzo thanked those who supported the film and invited those who did not watch the film to support her latest movie with Star Cinema, she said during a live interview on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” last Wednesday.

According to source, “The Love Affair” tells the story of Vince (Gomez) and Tricia (Zulueta), a married couple undergoing problems after she seems to have cheated on her husband. The love story of the couple becomes more complicated when Vince meets Adie (Alonzo), a lawyer he meets while seeking to have his marriage with Tricia annulled.

Meanwhile, the top grossing film in the Philippines is “Crazy Beautiful You” that earned domestic gross P225 Million.
