Thursday afternoon in Pasay City, a hold-upper was killed after one of his victims fought back and stabbed him to death. Based on the identification card that was found, the “suspect-turned-victim” was identified as Rodolfo Javelona.
The whole disturbance was caught on CCTV which initially showed two robbers trying to snatch a branded bag from a woman. The male victim rescued his female companion who also threw her bag inside a hardware store to keep her belongings safe.
However, another footage of Javelona showed, forcing his way inside the establishment to get the bag of the victim. The four engaged in a brawl until the male victim was able to overpower Javelona and killed him using a knife. The other suspect quickly fled from the scene through a motorcycle.
In an interview with ABS-CBN , the victim recounted that while they were cruising along a road in the city, the two riders tried to intimidate and force them to a spot. This is where the struggle started until they reach the crime scene.
The reporters was told by the investigators that the male victim could be charged with homicide.
