As of the report by Philippine Daily Inquirer, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos will not run for any position this 2016 election. As it has already been making round that she is one of the candidates and view to run for the Vice President position.

According to her, “After this time, wala po akong political plan… andito ako sa Balayan regarding scholarship; this is my focus now. So hindi ko po priority yan, para pag-isipin o magplano regarding a national position,”

She also said that, hough lots had been convincing her to run for that higher position she never entertain any dialouges from anyone just to run for a Vice President Position.

At of now, she is one of the trusted and in her as in her lates position as Governor of Batangas and Gov. Vi said, “Malaki ang utang na loob ko sa Batangueño na ako ay pinagkatiwalaan at nakatapos po ng siyam na taon. At ngayon po ay nasa huling termino na ako bilang Gobernador. Maraming maraming salamat po sa tiwala.”
