Condolence to Renato Gurion died on heart attack during the process of black Nazarene, held last Friday Morning at the Rizal Park. He is a member of Hijos Del Nazareno a group of devotee for the black Nazarene.

According to Johnny Yu from the Disaster Risk Reduction office said that the Devotee had a heart attack and it was rushed to the Manila Doctors Hospital and it was declared dead on arrival.

The 44-year-old is a front liner that protects the Black Nazarene’s image. It was obvious that there is no confirmation that the devotee is trapped at the top of the carriage at the start of the procession. Yu added, “It is likely that the victim have been suffering fatigue after protecting the image of the black Nazarene since last night”, as he stated to the report.

There was 450 injured devotees had given medical treatment and also 3 person was arrested for setting off firecrackers near to the Devotees of Nazarene.
