Kai Honasan revealed the reason why she kept her talent and passion for singing a secret to her family.

According to the young singer/musician she does not reveal her talent to her family because for fear that it would not measure up to the talents of her siblings.

On her performance during “The Voice PH” season 2 blind auditions she amazed the judges on her outstanding performance and voice control wheren she received a four chairs turner, she also revealed that she is always engage in a series of gigs playing five to six  a week.

Among the five children of Senator Gringo Honasan, she is considered to be the youngest.

Even though Kai is not a stranger towards playing various instrument like ukelele, she is also a trained painist, wherein she performs a lot in the front of many audience. But singing in front of many fans is an another story.

She is not used to sing in the face of many spectators.

In her interview with DZMM the aspirant female singer revealed the reason why she kept her talent a secret to her family she noted that all of them are good and train musician, so it is intimidating for her to follow their footsteps, she feels also unprepared.

“Hinintay ko muna. Nagpagaling muna ko sa banyo tapos tsaka ako kumanta.” Kai noted.

Meanwhile she is thankful towards her parents and siblings support on her audition and chooses Bamboo as her personal coach In the competition.
