Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie revealed she is willing to give up acting and focus more on directing. In a red carpet event held at Sydney wherein she walked together with her husband Brad Pitt at the premiere night of her new movie a World War II inspired movie “Unbroken”.
She also shared her passion towards directing wherein she sees herself as a director, but she is amenable that she will do more acting project before pursuing her new passion.
The 39 year old actress quoted “I love directing, I’m much happier directing,” she also added that she loves spending her two years learning about her new interest, she is more motivated to know the responsibilities of every production department of the movie.
Angelina’s new movie is a true story of US Olympic athlete named Louis Samperini that becomes a prisoner of war during World War II.
His plane crash around in Marshall Island, which he struggled for almost 47 days spending on a raft before being caught by the Japanese Imperial Army.
The athlete endures multiple tortures and beating for 2 years as a prisoner of war, before being liberated and goes home.
She noted that she likes other actors work and the limelight is more focus on them not on herself.
Meanwhile the actress is busy promoting her movie as its premiere around the globe.
