Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu becomes emotional upon hearing the news the she actually buys the “Best Actress Award” on the recently concluded PMPC 28th Star Awards last November 23, Sunday.
According to the chinita actress in her interview in Aquino and Abunda Tonight last Wednesday night she noted that social media now days becomes insensitive to the feelings of the other artist, knowing that they really work hard for receiving the “Best Actress Award”. Chiu reacted to the news that she does not deserve the recognition wherein she just bought the award.
She stressed “Ang social media ngayon, sobra nang… Ayan tuloy, naiiyak na ako. Siyempre sa tagal ko dito sa showbiz, masakit din pagsalitaan ka sa gano’n.”
Kim received “Best Actress Award” for her outstanding performance on “Ikaw Lamang” beating Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador on “The Legal Wife” and Ms. Maricel Soriano and Lovi Poe on (Dalawang Mrs. Real) aired at GMA7.
She noted that in her history as an actress this is her first time to do a teleserye, so it is her dream to receive the said recognition. Regarding those unpleasant comments from the social media, she just takes it as a compliment to improve more on acting.
Meanwhile the actress is busy promoting her latest movie “Past Tense” together with Xian Lim, Daniel Matsunaga and Ai Ai De Las Alas. The movie talks about a girl for almost 20years she is in coma, after she got awake she notice that she spent her life in vain, so she got a opportunity to go back to the past and correct her mistake.
The movie is now showing nationwide this November 26, 2014.
