Veteran lawmaker and Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago express her willingness to run for presidency this 2016 if her condition will be okay up to the time of filing of candidacy.

It is remembered that the famous lawmaker and politician claimed that she actually won the Presidency election last 1992 against the ex-President Fidel Ramos.

The senator really considers her condition as a hindrance towards her plan to aim for the highest position of the Republic of the Philippines.

As of now the claimed top caliber lawmaker is doing medical procedures abroad to ensure her safety and fast recovery after diagnose of having lung cancer a few months ago.

If so happened that she will be elected her aim is planning for a cabinet members consist of half on the youth sector and the other is given to senior citizens.

The 69 year old Senator said she will run for president if she will get enough supporters to vote for her.

Meanwhile Miriam is asked regarding her potential opponent during the election, she noted she will give any candidate a good run for their money and stressed she does not fear anybody, if they will insult her, she is gladly to return the favor to them.
