The search for the newest Miss Earth 2014 has finally started. Miss Earth 2014 Candidates from around the world that will competing the title has represented to the press, held at the new Green Sun Hotel in Makati last Monday, November 10, 2014.

Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry hosted the event, featured 82 of the 86 ladies in their swimwear, modeling bags made of environmentally friendly materials that will be auctioned for the chosen charity.

The darling of the Press, candidates from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Spain, Thailand and country’s bet Jamie Herrell which caught the attention of the press.

The Darling Press Award goes to delegates from Venezuela’s Maira Alexandra Rodriguez won silver award that followed by Puerto Rico’s Franceska Toro who garnered bronze.

In the official interview by the reporters after the awarding, “It was difficult choice but I’m happy to win”. She added; “I’m really happy. All of the delegates are so beautiful, so it was really hard for the press to pick the Darling of the Press and all of us here are so happy and honored to be given the award”, Jamie Herrell said.

UP Diliman Theater will be the venue of announcing the winners of Miss Earth 2014 pageant on November 29, 2014.
