Sadly to say Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago will not able to make it on Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero Wedding this coming February next year.

Wherein the couple will be expecting not to the person who is responsible for their blooming romance.

According to Heart the known senator’s role is to be absent because of health reasons, she added that the female senator is recovering from cancer, even though she will insist that she is okay it is really impossible for her to make it because of her series of medication.

“Kasi, siyempre, kahit sabihin niyang she’s okay, she’s still very much recovering from her cancer. Imposible talagang makasakay siya ng eroplano to go to my wedding” Heart quoted.

It is remembered that the Miriam revealed that she is seriously ill because of stage 4 lung cancer, wherein there is a malignant tumor appeared in her lungs, last August 27 she undergone a medical procedure called Tarceva similar to chemotherapy.

Heart also added that even though the topnotch Senator could not make it, she really express her best wishes on advance to both of them and advice Heart on how to become a good wife and a responsible mother in the near future.

The Senator also asked the bride to be what she desired as a gift for her wedding, the actress replied she wants a Hermes bag, but the Senator gives her a fake Birkin, just to make her laugh (Heart).

As of now Miriam is doing a keen medical procedure for her fast recovery.
