Congratulations! “The Voice of the Philippines” coach Sarah Geronimo on Thursday, becoming the 2014 #MTVEMA Best Southeast Asia Act at MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) by voted by fans.
The 26-year-old singer/actress was topped against Up Dharma Down also of the Philippines, NOAH and Agnez Mo of Indonesia, Yuna of Malaysia, Stefanie Sun of Singapore, and Slot Machine of Thailand, according to the report of ABS-CBN.
MTV Asia announces that Sarah Geronimo with her regional win and she will moved to the next round of competition, wherein she will be competed against the acts from Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.
You can also vote once again for Sarah Geronimo to won against BiBi Zhou (China) and Hebe Tien (Taiwan) until October 29, 2014.
The acts is based on the number of votes by fans and it will be represent the region as its Worldwide Act nominee, which was to face-off against other nominees from different regions, according to ABS-CBN.
It will be announce at the MTV EMA show held at The SSE Hydro in Scotland on November 9, 2014.
