Province of Albay prepares for a warm homecoming welcome for the reigning Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann.

Four days prior to her coronation Val was invited by Albay Governor Joey Salceda together with his chief of staff Atty. Carol Sabio. It was Weigmann first official trip together with the National Miss World Philippines National Director Miss Cory Quirino.

According to the reports of a certain BDO executive the rain does not stop for Albayanon’s heartwarming welcome for Valeria and shared their enthusiasm towards congratulating her for what she did for the honor of Albay and its people.

The motorcade spanned for almost two hours wherein people from Albay’s lined along the streets of Legazpi City and Daraga area. She also shared her happiness towards Albayonon’s commitment to withstand the hard rains just only to meet and congratulate her.

During the ceremonial rights Albay vice Governor Harold Imperial together with the other government officials presented a resolution aiming to recognize Valerie’s achievement.

According to Gerry (BDO executive) the beauty queens really express her excitement to witness the natural beauty of Mt. Mayon and wishes to visit two evacuation centers at Upper Malabog in Daraga and Camalig North in Camalig.

Valerie enjoys giving gift to the poor and emphasizes the importance of family eating together. She will also engage in some charitable events in Albay to help those who are in need especially those who are affected by the danger of Mt. Mayon’s eruption.
