Kapamilya actor and comedian Vhong Navarro felt sad upon hearing the news of allowing Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo and Simon Raz to post bail against serious illegal detention case filed by the actor to them.

According to Vhong upon hearing the decision he is more serious to pursue the fight for justice.

In an interview with DZMM, Atty. Mallonga who is holding the case and acting as Vhong’s legal counsel said that the actor is fully aware of what is happening and really expect that to take place, she added that the actor is not demoralized and fully determine to see the case through.

“He is aware. He is saddened by the news. He is not completely demoralized. He is as strong and as fully committed to see this case through,” Atty. Malonga qouted.

It is remembered last Monday that the presiding judge namely Judge Paz Esperanza-Cortes of Regional Trial Court Branch 271, allows Denice Cornejo together with Cedric Lee and Simon Raz to post bail amouting to 500,000 php. Suppose to be the “Serious Illegal Detention Case” is tend to be not a non-bailable offense.

Lee and Raz are released from prison,but the Denice is still detained at Camp Crame.

Atty. Malonga stated that the case is still not yet finished, wherein she urged that their evidence is sufficient enough to prove that there is a serious illegal detention happened in the scene.

She added that they have lost faith agaisnt the presiding judge wherein they filed a petition to inhibit her as judge who holds the case. She is also frustrated on the judge wherein she believes the decision becomes more bias proven that they have presented enough evidence to convict the suspects.
