The veteran actor Edu Manzano receives death threats from unknown person after the suspension of OMB or Optical Media Board Chairman and former action star Ronnie Rickets.

Edu Manzano received death threat in September 8, 2014 around 1:17 PM. After that he posted on his official Twitter account (@RealEduManzano) with caption “So, how many of you received a DEATH THREAT today? Check mine out, clearly written by AMATEURS and IDIOTS.”

Meanwhile, Ronald Naldo Ricketts his real name suspended last week together with his 4 OMB personnel for reason of neglecting of their duty regarding to the Post-Raid Operation against to Sky High Marketing Corporation in Quiapo, Manila on 2010. The suspension was implemented and last for 6 months to Rickets after of investigation by Office of the Ombudsman.

Manzano, explained to his post in Twitter that he had NO PART in the Ombudsman’s decision.

The death treath started when Manzano ordered the criminal charges against to Rickets for graft and corruption.

Edu Manzano has served as the Chairman of the Optical Media Board in 2004. After his term, Ronnie Rickets was elected as chairman 5 years ago. He was appointed by former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
