The comedian Vice Ganda accepts the challenge of his best friend Kris Aquino to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that held in noontime show Its Showtime during the “Araw ng mga Bayani” on Monday, August 25, 2014.

Before the trending in social media challenge she sings first the Hot and Cold by Katy Pery with witch costume and Halloween inspired performance. After his performance, he did the challenge, after that he nominate 3 persons Derek Bobet, and the actors Coco Martin and Richard Yap.

After that, Derek “Bobet” Vidanes immediately out from his room and do the challenge of Vice to him. Despite of his formal attire, he did the challenge for the sake of the research of ALS Association to the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. But before that, he nominated the showtime hosts Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia and Vhong Navarro to do the challenge and he also donated $100 for the sake of research of the said disease.

The Singer/hosts Billy Crawford with his Girlfriend Coleen Garcia also did the challenge that tagged by Direk Bobet Vidanes. They did the challenge during the noontime show showtime. They also donated $50 from Billy and $50 from Coleen and dare the other showtime hosts to do the challenge within 24 hours.

The ALS Association using this Trending Challenge, their purpose is to give awareness the people all over the world about the Amyotrophic Lateral Disease, that disease affects the nervous and spinal column of victim. As of now, there’s no cure of this disease.
