After the People’s Champ become a one of the famous boxing icon, and Sarangani Representative. Manny Pacquiao is now a shareholder of mixed martial arts company known as One Fighting Championship or One FC.
According to Yahoo Sports Reporter Kevin Iole, the Chief Executive of One FC Victor Cui that Manny Pacquiao has purchased number of shares (Undisclosed) in the company.
The CEO told that he is excited to be a business partners with Manny, the reason why he is excited about this news because Manny is obviously he is a sports icon that recognize worldwide. He also revealed that the people’s champ tries to wear the MMA gloves and he find out that it is lighter than to boxing gloves.
The One Fighting Championship is officially launched on July 14, 2011 and it recognized as biggest MMA or mixed martial arts in Asia. In 2012, the FC is nominated for promotion of the year at World MMA Awards with the biggest names like UFC, Invicita FC, and Strikeforce. And it is won as Best Engagement Strategy in 2013 from Marketing Magazine.
Meanwhile, the FC Philippines have a local MMA fighters like Eduard Folayang of Team Lakay, and Ana Julaton, the former women’s boxing champ. Is starting make name in One FC together with the Fil-Am former UFC contender Brandon Vera that recently signed a contract.
