The estranged wife of actor Derek Ramsay for the first time she showed herself in media on Friday to clear that she’s not backing down from their legal dispute.

Mary Christine Jolly also challenged the actor Derek to face his obligations to their 11-year-old son Austin Gabriel Ramsay, who claimed that he abandoned their child since Austin was born.

In August, Mary Christine filed a complaint against the hunk-actor Derek for allegedly violating the R.A 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.

In her story, she tell their met was on 2001, after 1-year of their relationship, they got married in Balagtas, Bulacan in 2002 according to her marriage contract submitted on Makati Prosecutor’s Office. And she added that they decided to separate because of disagreements, Mary Christine decided to live in Dubai and raised their son by herself, but she trying to contact Derek when Austin started to ask about his father.

In 2011, Mary Christine introduced their son with Derek.

The 37-year-old British-Filipino actor also explained his side why he did not reveal his son in public, according to him “I wanted to know my son first and keep my relationship with him private. [He] was just an 8-year-old boy then and he would not be able to comprehend the possible media curiosity about him, especially since he was then new to the country and about to pursue his education here.”
