Valdez together with her team mates becomes emotional upon declaring them as the champion and officially dethrones DLSU Lady Spikers in the champion’s seat.

In the current do or die match between the arch rival Ateneo Blue Eagles and De La Salle Lady Spikers in game 4 of UAAP season 75 Women Volleyball Finals Championship Match.

Ateneo proves that unity and enjoying the game is the key to win the championship. Even though it was a tough fight against the Lady Spikers, the Lady Eagles proves that they have the heart of being a champion.
According to the finals MVP Alyssa Valdez she thanks to the never ending support and believe of the fans that they have what it takes to take the championship.

Valdez also added that their training and hard work is worth proving themselves that they are now here standing in the crowds heads up as the new champion in women’s  volleyball.

Ateneo rookie Melissa Morado and Dennise Lazaro is also appreciated by the team as they brought their outstanding performance during the championship match.

Ateneo beat La Salle in a 3 straight set during game 4 dethroning DLSU as defending champs.

On the other hand Lady Spiker’s shows a great act of sportsmanship accepting their defeat as this will be their motivation to train harder to regain the championship.
