“Frozen” Hits Record Breaking Earnings of $75 Million in South Korea

Disney animated movie “Frozen” once again hit a record breaking earnings of $75,000,000.00.  The said Oscar 2014 Best Animated Features reportedly broke several box office records in South Korea.

frozenIn the statement released by Korean Film Council ,As of Monday the total earnings of the said animated movie goes up to $ 75.48 Million, leaving its name as one of the most successful Disney Animated film produced outside the US.

Being happy about the support given by Korean Fans  the said movie, both directors of the film Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee expressed their message by drawing the character Olaf saying “ Thank You Korea For Loving Me So Much, I want to give you all a warm hug”.

Its Official Movie Soundtrack “Let it go” received “Best Original Song” award in Oscars 2014. Its composers were Robert and Chirtine Lopez. The song was recorded by multi talented recording artist Demi Lovato.

This song is considered one of the most downloaded songs in the internet.

For just 18 days prior to its opening, the said movie admits almost 5 million Korean fans and adds 2 million more in the following day.

According to Jeong Ji- Ouk a film critic in Korea “One point that the movie is successful because it is Broadway Inspired which tend to be something new to the sights of the audiences.

The story talks about Anna (voice by Kristina Bell) a fearless and very optimistic woman wants to find her sister Elsa (voice by Idina Mendel) where in her icy powers trapped the whole Kingdom of Arendelle into an everlasting winter. So Anna joins in a mountain man named Kristoff together with his reindeer Sven and a snowman named Olaf, together they set a journey to save Elsa in danger.
