The world is so excited for the most awaited Clash of the champions in Macau. Filipino boxing super hero Manny “Packman” Pacquiao versus the American former WBA lightweight champion Brandon “Bambam” Rios.
Pacquiao and Rios made appearance during the official weigh-in before the World Boxing Organization (WBO). This is an international 12-round fight for welterweight championship title.
Rios come first to take the scale weighing 146 ½ pounds, then followed Pacquiao weighing 145 pounds.
“I feel happy because of the crowd. I’m not expecting them. There’s a lot of people coming to the grand arrival but I’m surprised by their support and I’m so happy and excited,” told Pacquiao during the media interview.
“I’m so happy the fight is in Asia, especially very close to the Philippines,” he said.
During the earlier interview, Pacquiao pledge the fight to survivors of super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in the Philippines especially in Tacloban City.
On the other side, Rios is ready and prepared to defeat the Filipino champion.
“It’s a great fight” said the founder and CEO of Top Rank promotion.
