Jamal Edwards, a young amateur film-maker who became a media boss in his owned SBTV broadcasting company with 12 members of staff. He used to make typical video music featuring rap and pop music stars and uploaded on YouTube for free viewing to all netizens all over the world.
Jamal, a teenager on a council state in west London has started making video music using his video camera given by her parents as Christmas present at the age of 15. Without a formal training, but believing himself finding his talent, for him that is making videos.
From that moment his video camera became inseparable to him, he inclined to film friends rapping or singing everywhere. He started uploading videos to YouTube just to show to his friends how he did it without knowing for the first time the potential earnings of what he has done.
Building up good reputation through his quality video uploaded on YouTube, he was surprise that he made a good business with YouTube taking a percentage from the advertising revenues for adverts that are linked to his videos.
The 23-year old from West London has now a network worth more than £8m and he is included to the lists of young millionaire in the world and considered famous in his chosen field of expertise.
Jamal’s becoming multimillionaire drastically changed his life. Now he is chosen to become an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, the youth charity run by Prince Charles supporting young individuals setting up their own companies.
