The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has released the results of the October 2013 Civil Service Exam – Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) earlier than the expected date that is supposed to be between the months of December to January. On Wednesday, November 27, 2013 the results of Sub-Prof and Professional is released.
According to the Civil Service Commission the total registered examinees from two divisions, Sub-Professional and Professional levels are 153,387.
For Professional level, the type of examination in English and Filipino includes reading comprehension, paragraph organization, grammar and correct usage, vocabulary, analogy, logic and numerical reasoning. For the Sub-Professional level is almost the same type of examination only the area altered is the inclusion of clerical operations instead of analogy and logic. Both levels has general information citing the Philippine Constitution (R.A. 6713) the Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards for Public Officials and Employees, peace and human rights issues and concepts, and the environmental management and protection. Time allotted is 3-hours for Professional and 2.5-hours for the Sub-Professional.
