The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) will announce anytime the official results of the 2017-2018 Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (ALS A&E) Test. Elementary and Secondary Level composed the exam of March 2018 ALS A&E Test Result.

“…Our tedious review of existing policies on the transition of learners and our close consultations with the Commission on Higher Education resulted in this affirmative action and in better opportunities for our learners outside the formal school system,” Secretary Briones emphasized.

DepEd also announced through Memorandum No. 076 series of 2018, “A 60% passing score in examinations is generally acceptable.”

The highly anticipated examination was administered last March 4, 2018 in Luzon and March 11, 2018 in Visayas and Mindanao.

Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones stated; “The work with ALS never stops; and as persistent as our out-of-school youth and adults who seek to further their knowledge and skills through education, the Department of Education is determined to continuously provide them with more options in life. Our tedious review of existing policies on the transition of learners and our close consultations with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) resulted in this DepEd Order, and hopefully, in better opportunities for our learners outside the formal school system.”
