The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announce the official results for October 23, 2016 Civil Service Exam-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) or popularly known as Career Service Examination for the Professional and Sub-Professional Level which is expectedly posted the results on December 2016. For those passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for the first and second level positions in the civil service provided the eligible’s meet the qualifications and other requirements of the positions (education, experience, and training), according to Civil Service Commission.

Here are the following areas suspended the CSE-PPT due to the onslaught of Super Typhoon Lawin, Region 2 (Cagayan Valley Region), Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Dagupan City. In CSC official website, the official results will be released within 41 working days after the last day of examination.

According to source, “results are expected on or before December 3, 2016 or 41 days after the last day of exams.”

The expected date of releasing official results will be in between of December 1 up to December 9, 2016 (41 calendar days).

The examinees can also generate their examination rating through OCSERGS or known as Online Civil Service Examination Results Generation System than can be accessed in the CSC website. According to CSC official website, concerns on examination result, including verification of Examinee Number, should be coordinated directly with the CSC Regional Office (CSCRO) concerned.

Those who will pass should coordinate and verify with the CSC Regional Office concerned the availability of their Certification of Eligibility (CoE) and the requirements in claiming it. A complete directory of the CSC Regional Offices is available at the CSC website. Passers must personally claim their CoE. Representatives are not allowed to claim the same. Claiming of CoE shall be available approximately 30 days after the posting of the List of Passers, CSC added.

In Professional Level test of CSE-PPT, 3hr test which includes vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy, logic, and numerical reasoning (English and Filipino). For the latter, exam coverage is almost the same with the inclusion of clerical operations instead of analogy and logic and timed for 2.5 hours.
