President Rodrigo Duterte’s “El Presidente” Anime Video goes Viral

An anime video of President Rodrigo Duterte showing his rise to the presidency has caught the attention of many social media followers after it was posted on the Facebook page Bisayaball.

The one minute and 28-second video clip were entitled “El Presidente” was created by Davao Nikkei Jin Anime Club together with Bisayaball Community has gathered 820,000 views, 18,000 reactions and 38,000 shares as of this writing.

In the video, it shows the vital moments of the strong leader’s life.  One of these includes being a young student leading among his classmates, his presidential campaign, his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) and his memorable meeting with Shinzo Abe, a Japanese Prime Minister.  It was also featured here he was wearing ordinary clothes and slippers while being interviewed by reporters during his time as Davao’s City Mayor in his simple house in Doña Luisa Subdivision in Davao City.

Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” De la Rosa are also in the video clip.

In the most portion of the clip, the President was seen wearing a leather jacket on a journey while holding the Philippine flag with a golden eagle on top of it.  Aside from this, he was also seen fighting several monsters which symbolize as illegal drugs, narco-politicians and the media.

Amazed by the work of the animators, many netizens urge the creators to make more Duterte anime series that they could watch regularly.
