Contaminated Worms inside Holiday Beef Loaf Can was Found

Gail

We buy canned goods for the reason that we don’t have enough time to cook a meal for our family. Canned goods contain some preservatives to preserve the quality of the food inside the can.

A woman named Rowsiiee Mee Tuba buy a can of beef loaf from Savemore Supermarket, Talisay City.  Two weeks after she buys this, she asked her husband to open the can of a beef loaf to cut and cook it.

Surprisingly, when the can has opened the woman and her husband saw it was contaminated by worms.  The goods have an expiration date of April 2018 would supposedly be in good condition.  The woman feels disappointed on what she saw on the product.

She plans to make a complaint but she has already lost the receipt of purchase.  She is now calling the attention of Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) to take actions and be heard by Holiday Company.  She added she wants to call out on consumers and buyers to be aware when buying canned goods.
