The 29th EDSA People Power Revolution Announces Special Holiday for Schools Only (No Classes) on February 25, 2015

The government announces for 29th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution will be normal operations for private and government offices this coming Wednesday, February 25, 2015. It was only a special holiday for all schools.

Malacañang Palace, which made February 25, 2015, is a special holiday to mark the 29th anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolution in accordance with the Proclamation 831 signed by President Benigno Aquino III.

Its official, in a social account of Philippine government “Twitter” posted @govph #walangpasok, February 25, 2016 Wednesday for schools only.

As in recap: The EDSA People Power Revolution in 1986 ended the administration of former President Ferdinand Marcos that serves in the country for almost 21 year and it was announce for Corazon Aquino as President before the people united in power.

Recently, there are changes made through the years but people still recognize this event of EDSA People Power Revolution.  Since 2010, February 25 was made a special holiday only for Schools.
