SaveMore Supermarket opened another new branch located in Fortune Towne, Barangay Estefania east of Bacolod City on Wednesday, November 26, 2014.
The grand opening of the leading supermarket in Fortune Towne was attended by Brgy. Captain Jerry Tingson and Barangay officials. But what makes exciting during the grand opening day were the presence of the invited beauty queen guests Miss Philippines-Water and 1st Princess and television & film actor Paulo Avelino.
Folks and people from nearby barangay were flooded to witness the grand opening of the first ever supermarket in Fortune Towne and avail the “Buy 1 Take 1” promo . Added to the thousands of crowd are the students of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC) who also came to witness the momentous day of SM supermarket and of course to see personally the invited guest (super gwapong actor) Paulo Avelino. CHMSC is situated just in front of the new supermarket. It is the most common landmark of the barangay and considered a tourist attraction.
Few hours before the grand opening, the program proper started with variety presentation and trivia in which prizes awaits for the lucky winners.
