Low Pressure Area “AGATON” Weather Bulletin Updates as of January 13, 2013

The latest weather updates as of January 13, 2014, “no tropical storm” affecting the Philippines as of today until tomorrow January 14, 2014, but Low Pressure Area (LPA) continue affecting Mindanao areas, says the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

LPA AgatonThe PAGASA weather forecast for tomorrow January 14, 2014 from 5:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. based on the weather bulletin updates, at around 4:00a.m. tomorrow morning January 14, 2014 the Low Pressure Area will be affecting within the vicinity of Surigao del Sur with the estimated coordinates at (9.00N, 126.00E) and the Northern and Central Luzon will be still affecting by the northeast monsoon (Amihan) until tomorrow.

If the Low Pressure Area affecting the Philippines today becomes a storm it will be named “AGATON” which will be the first tropical storm in the country as of the 2014.

[Mindanao, Eastern and Central Visayas will experience cloudy skies with Moderate to Heavy Rainshowers and Thunderstorms which may trigger Flashfloods and Landslides.

Bicol Region, MIMAROPA and the rest of the Visayas will have Cloudy Skies with Light to Moderate Rainshowers and Thunderstorms. The Metro Manila and the rest of Luzonn will be Cloudy with Isolated Light Rains.

Moderate to Strong Winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the Northeast to Northwest over Mindanao. The coastal waters will throughout the archipelago will be Moderate to Rough.]
