Philippine Arena of “Iglesia Ni Cristo” Featured in Discovery Channel [Video]

Iglesia ni Cristo’s master plan of building the Philippine Arena which is to be regarded as the world’s largest multipurpose dome that has the capacity of 50,000 people can seat. The INC’s ‘Philippine Arena’ is something in the country that the Filipino is to be proud of and to have dignity of having a landmark as the biggest and the largest dome in the world.

The construction of the Philippine Arena is being featured on Discovery Channel’s episode which was aired December 25, 2013.

What makes interested for the Discovery Channel to features the ongoing construction of the Philippine Arena? This is because of its unique features being a “Man Made Marvel” which means to be the biggest and largest “Quake Proof” dome in the world.

Discovery Channel Documentary producer and director Denise Keller and David Moggie come to the Philippines to meet the people responsible of giving information needed. The New Era University has represented in behalf of the owner side.

Present during the meeting includes; the Discovery Channel Documentary staff, the New Era Univesity representative, the project manager of the Philippine Arena, the Generations Design Asia (GDA) representative, and the construction company Hanwa Engineering and Construction Corp. joined the meeting.

According to Korea Herald, the corporation entered into contract with the INC in the amount of US$175 million which is equivalent to P7.6 billion.

The construction of the world’s largest dome in the country “Philippine Arena” started on July 2011 and the estimated completion is set just in time for the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s 100 year anniversary on July 27. 2014.
